Trailrides at Millstream/Millstream Restaurant
Only ten minutes away in Brackely Beach, kiddie rides and hour long
trail rides. A great event for families! Trail ride price: $14,
Children’s paddock rides: $4. There is also a great diner type
restaurent with homecooked PEI food and a children's playground. This
is a great place to visit for an evening of fun!
Brackely Beach Drive In Theatre
Only
ten minutes away in Brackely Beach. When is the last time you went to a
drive in? This is great for families, new movies, that change each
week. Most movies are kid friendly! Bring your own food, or visit the
snack bar, watch the movies under the PEI Starry sky! Starts around 930
pm or at dark. This is an Island owned business, operated and owned by
my old high school bud, Bob Boyle!
Shining Water Fun Park, Cavendish
Located in Cavendish, this park is a fun day for kids!
Kensington Water Gardens
is about a half an hour away in Kensington PEI. It takes an hour or two
to tour the attractions, and it is a little scary for little kids.
Scary Haunted Frankenstien like lab, indoor castle playground,
underground Londontown, outdoor gardens and playground. You can also
visit the Railroad Museum also in Kensington located just behind the
attraction. Also closeby is Woodleigh Replicas and Burlington Go-Karts.
Kensington
Water Gardens is a quality indoor/outdoor attraction not to be missed!
The Illuminations, a color and light display based on the European Son
et Lumiere exhibitions, King Arthur’s Camelot for a little fun, and a
walk through time into the medieval streets of London are all inside of
our large Tudor style building. Our acre of beautifully landscaped
Water Gardens feature waterfalls, fountains, streams, pools, and many
breathtaking flower-beds. The gardens feature an aerial tree walk and a
small children’s play area. There are great reproductions of
large-scale structures such as the Eiffel Tower and Mad King Ludwig’s
Neuschwanstein Castle. Ample motorcoach parking and washroom
facilities. Gift shop and Tea Room on-site.

It's a miniture replica of many historical sites in London, we visit it every year, and the kids love it!
Woodleigh Replicas & Gardens is a British Theme Park located in the
heart of Burlington, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Covering 45 acres of

New Glasgow Country Gardens
Experience nature's beauty at the New Glasgow Country Gardens adjacent
to the Prince Edward Island Preserve Co. in New Glasgow. It is a
collaborative effort of the employees and owners of the company and the
Gardens are truly a showcase of creativity, hard work, charity and
last, but not least, a stunning display of beautiful plants. Admission
by donation.
Isabel's Flowers, Rustico
Isabel's Farm is five minutes from the cottage, on the way into the
village of Rusticoville-20hwy. 258-902-963-3140. Walk through her
flower gardens or pick your own. A fresh bouquet to to freshen up the
cottage on your PEI stay.
Burlington Go-Karts
Go-Karts and Amusement Park located just down the Road from Woodleigh Replicas.
Santa's Woods
Great
for small children, we return every summer to see Santa, play backlit
golf, go on the electric cars and play in the many play areas, decorate
gingerbread cookies, view the bunnies, kitties, goats and chickens,
play in the caged in Balls, jump on on of many giant trampolenes, fish
in the mini-fish pond, stroll through the woods on a hot day, and
parent's can relax while the kids are entertained. You can also return
a second day free at any time during the summer. It's totally
non-commercialized and not usually too busy. Bring your own hot dogs to
BBQ! Can be a little expensive for what it is (same price as Shining Waters) and you need cash. But you can go two days!
