I just wanted to post a note about myself in case anyone was wondering, who is this blogger...
I'm Lysa Miller, president and founder of Ladybugz Inc. A small web firm outside of Boston.
I started my web career in the early 90's after a few years in PR and Communications, I decided, or "they" decided I was a techie...So I got promoted to Webmaster of the Ontario Medical Associaton and Internet Columnist for the Ontario Medical Review.
I was later exported to a start up in the United States called NEIS (New England Internet Services later was purchased by Commtel) then moved my way down the map to Boston to work for ZDNet/CNet managing the content, design, and application of one of their Ecommerce Programs.
I started Ladybugz as a Freelance Gig while working at CNet Networks and later resigned to have children and have a home business.
I have had some really great customers over the years including eight years working with Hotelier Laurence Bongiorno managing the websites/web marketing for all of his properties in Kennebunkport Maine (White Barn Inn, Breakwater Inn etc.).
I continue to work for GTC Biotherapeutics as their Webmaster, and have a number of maintenance and web marketing clients, such as Flagship Wharf Properties in Boston, Misty Harbor Properties in Maine, The Dagar Group Ltd. and the Charlestown Business Association, to name a few (yes there are many more!).
I also do a lot of "redesigns" and "fix ups". I would say in my career, I've designed hundreds of web sites!!!
I now have almost 4 children, but can't pull myself away from being in this business. I love it!
