The Charlestown Business Association and the BHCC Community Center for Entrepreneurship cordially you invite to June 3, 2009 12 – 2PM: "Recession-proof Your Business" Luncheon
The Charlestown Business Association and the BHCC Community Center for Entrepreneurship are sponsoring a Business Lunch and Seminar called "Recession-proof your Business". The event will take place June 3rd, at noon at Bunker Hill Community College in the A-300 Lobby. The session will include lunch and speaker Richard Belofsky who will talk about the power of "network, or word of mouth" marketing. Are you only focusing advertising, marketing and online marketing but forgotten about the importance of traditional word of mouth marketing?
This is a free event and will take place from 12 noon to 1:30-2PM. We will try to keep it short but make the most use of that time so people can leave their businesses over lunch hour to attend the event. We will be serving a free lunch.

Charlestown Business Association April Luncheon with Senator Gallucchio
The Charlestown Business Association held a great event last week at the Navy Yard Bistro in the Charlestown Navy Yard. Organized by Jessica Cluff a CBA board member, the meeting was one of the best meetings of the year. The Senator is always a pleasure to listen to and talked about many topics such as education and of course the stimulus package. He was very personable and answered some tough questions by the crowd. The food was amazing (as usual) and John Moore, owner, was a great host to the event, as always.
